Opening hours

Your agent tells callers when you are open, whether you are open right now, and when you next open. It uses the opening hours on your desk to do this, so it is worth getting them right.

Where to set them

Open your desk, go to Call handling and select the Opening hours tab. Set your regular weekly schedule, mark any days you are closed, and add a second session for split days (for example 09:00-13:00 then 18:00-22:00).

We estimate them for you

When you sign up, RingDesk tries to read your opening hours from your website. If it cannot find them, it makes a sensible estimate from your business type so your agent always has something to tell callers.

When hours are estimated you will see an amber "We have estimated your opening hours - please confirm" banner. Check each day and press Save to confirm them - the banner then disappears. Your agent quotes whatever is saved, so always confirm before going live.

Date exceptions

Under Date exceptions you can add bank holidays, one-off closures, or different hours on a specific date. These override your weekly schedule for that day only.
