## Choosing what you hear about

You control which emails and texts RingDesk sends you. Every email we send has a Manage your notification preferences link in the footer, so you can change things any time - you're never stuck with something you didn't choose.

There are two places to manage this:

  • Account → Email preferences - digests, reports and product updates.
  • Your Profile - personal call & message alerts (email and SMS) for the desks you're assigned to.

Call & message alerts

Get an email - and optionally a text - the moment a call is handled or a caller leaves a message or asks for a callback. Turn each channel on or off, and set the email address / UK mobile they go to. These are per person, so each teammate assigned to a desk chooses their own.

Usage summaries - daily, weekly, or just monthly

A short summary of your call activity - calls handled, bookings, sentiment:

  • Daily summary - each morning, covering the previous day. Off by default - turn it on if you want it.
  • Weekly digest - a brief weekly round-up. On by default.
  • Monthly report - a fuller monthly summary. Always sent - it's your baseline account report and can't be turned off.

Days with no calls don't trigger a daily or weekly email, so a quiet day won't clutter your inbox.

Always-on emails

A few emails are essential to running your account and can't be switched off:

  • Billing - invoices, receipts, failed-payment and low-credit alerts.
  • Account & security - sign-in links, number changes, plan changes, account status.
  • Monthly usage report - your baseline monthly summary.

Everything else is yours to turn on or off whenever you like.
