## Billing and usage in one place
Everything about what you are paying and using lives on the Billing page (labelled Billing & Usage) in the admin app. Open it from the main menu.
Your next invoice
Your plan renews on a monthly cycle that starts on the day you first subscribed. The Billing & Usage page shows your current billing period and the date it ends - that end date is when your next invoice is raised and your card is charged. You also get the invoice by email, and every invoice is listed under Account -> Documents with a downloadable PDF.
This cycle's charges
The Billing & Usage page shows what you have run up so far this period:
- Your plan fee for the month.
- Minutes used against your plan's included allowance.
- Any extra minutes beyond the allowance, plus any add-ons.
How many minutes do I have left?
Each paid plan includes a monthly minute allowance:
| Plan | Included minutes |
|---|---|
| Starter | 300 per month |
| Standard | 750 per month |
| Pro | 1,800 per month |
| Scale | 5,000 per month |
The Billing & Usage page shows the minutes used this period, so your remaining minutes are simply the allowance minus what has been used. Allowances reset at the start of each billing period. (The free trial gives you 200 minutes; Pay As You Go uses prepaid credit instead of a monthly allowance - see the Pay As You Go article.)
What happens if I use all my minutes?
Your agent keeps answering - calls are never cut off. Any minutes beyond your plan's allowance are billed at a flat 30p per minute and added to your next invoice. If you regularly go over, moving up to a higher plan usually works out cheaper - see "Upgrading or downgrading your plan".
Does it include VAT?
Prices are shown excluding VAT. UK VAT is added on top at checkout and on every invoice, and each invoice is a proper VAT invoice you can download.
Pausing or stopping billing
There is no "pause" button on a monthly plan, but you have options:
- Pause the agent at any time (free) without changing your plan - see "How to pause the AI agent". Your plan still bills as normal.
- Downgrade to a smaller plan from Billing -> Change plan.
- Cancel - you keep the service until the end of the paid period, then billing stops. See "Cancelling RingDesk".
- On Pay As You Go, turn off automatic top-up in Account -> Calling credit. Your agent simply pauses when the balance runs out and resumes the moment you top up.
