Welcome to RingDesk
RingDesk gives your venue a 24/7 AI telephone receptionist. It answers calls, handles FAQs, takes table bookings, and lets callers know your opening hours — all in a natural, human-sounding voice.
How to get started
Step 1 — Complete your trial setup
When you first sign up, RingDesk walks you through activating your trial. This provisions a UK phone number for you automatically and configures your AI agent with details from your website.
Step 2 — Check your agent's knowledge
Go to your venue > Agent to review the greeting, persona prompt, and opening hours. The setup process tries to pull your hours from your website — check they're correct and edit anything that's wrong.
Step 3 — Add your FAQs
Go to FAQs and add the questions customers most commonly ask. The AI uses these to give accurate answers. Good starting FAQs: parking, dress code, private hire, whether you take walk-ins.
Step 4 — Test the agent
Call your RingDesk number from any phone. Have a conversation with the agent — ask about opening hours, make a booking request, ask a FAQ. Listen for anything that sounds wrong or that needs improving.
Step 5 — Forward your existing number (optional)
If you want calls to your existing number to reach the AI, set up conditional forwarding. See the article "Set up conditional forwarding from your existing business number" for carrier-specific instructions.
